Calvary Day School Cougars (Winston-Salem, NC) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Greensboro Day School Bengals (Greensboro, NC), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Westchester Country Day Wildcats (High Point, NC) in a NCISAA Piedmont challenge, on Monday, October 2. Calvary Day School will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 1-1 league Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC).

The Bengals now have a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Wesleyan Christian Academy for a NCISAA Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Greensboro Day School will confront a Trojans team coming off a 5-0 league win over Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 17-0.
