California High School Volleyball - Salpointe Catholic over Buckley

September 29, 2023: Sherman Oaks, CA 91423

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ) and the host Buckley Griffins (Sherman Oaks, CA), saw Salpointe Catholic's volleyball squad beat Buckley by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Salpointe Catholic upgrades its record to 16-4 on the year. The Lancers travel to Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Sabercats in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Sabercats go into the bout with a record of 17-5. Saguaro won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ)

The Griffins now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica for a Liberty bout on Monday, October 2. Buckley will play a Seawolves squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Oakwood (North Hollywood, CA). The Seawolves record now stands at 14-1.
