Lakeland Lakers (LaGrange, IN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Angola Hornets (Angola, IN), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Lakeland moves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to West Noble (Ligonier, IN) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 11-4.

The Hornets now sport a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakewood Park Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. Angola will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Garrett (Garrett, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 9-5.
