Cambridge Bobcats (Cambridge, OH) fans were in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH), 4-1 in a non-league bout.

The Bobcats now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Brooke for a Two Rivers bout on Tuesday, September 30. Cambridge will play a Bruins squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to University (Morgantown, WV). The Bruins record now stands at 1-14.

With the loss, Monroe Central moves to 2-9 on the year. The Seminoles host Belpre (Belpre, OH) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, October 1. The Golden Eagles come into the game with a record of 5-9. Belpre won 4-0 in their recent non-league game against Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH)
