The Clearview Clippers football team (Lorain, OH), was beaten 38-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH)
The Falcons (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookside (Sheffield, OH). The Cardinals come into the Lorain County challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Brookside was beaten by Keystone (La Grange, OH), 33-10, in a league challenge.
The Clippers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wellington for a Lorain County challenge on Friday, October 7. Clearview will meet a Dukes team coming off a 35-7 league loss to Columbia (Columbia Station, OH). The Dukes record now stands at 1-6.
