The Bristol Eastern Lancers (Bristol, CT) volleyball tipped the host Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT), 3-2 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Bristol Eastern upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Lancers host Bristol Central (Bristol, CT) to face the Rams in a Central Connecticut - South outing on Monday, October 3. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 7-2. Bristol Central won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against East Hartford (East Hartford, CT)

The Nor'easters now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Catholic for a non-league outing on Monday, October 3. Newington will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
