Texas High School Volleyball - Emerson overwhelmed by Independence

The Emerson Mavericks volleyball team (McKinney, TX), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Independence Knights (Frisco, TX)

The Knights (25-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Coyotes come into the 5A Region II District 10 challenge with a 12-19 record. In their last challenge, Heritage went down by Centennial (Frisco, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mavericks encounter the Liberty Redhawks (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. Emerson will attempt to move on its 10-14 season record. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a 19-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX).
