In Friday's league contest, the Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Panorama Pythons (Panorama City, CA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) in a Valley Mission contest, on Monday, October 3. Kennedy will attempt to better on its 13-12 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 11-13 record after their 3-2 league loss to Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA).

With the loss, Panorama moves to 1-9 on the year. The Pythons travel to Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA) to battle the Knights in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 1. The Knights go into the contest with a record of 9-5. Sherman Oaks CES won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA)
