The Orchard Park Quakers (Orchard Park, NY) football overcame the visiting Sweet Home Panthers (Amherst, NY), 43-35 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Quakers face the Hutchinson-Central Tech/Emerson Vo-Tech/City Honors Engineers (Buffalo, NY) in a Section 6 AA bout, on Friday, October 6. Orchard Park will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Engineers enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 50-14 league loss to Jamestown (Jamestown, NY).
The Panthers (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY). The Lumberjacks enter the Section 6 A - 2 bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, North Tonawanda thwarted Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY), 28-26, in a league bout.
