The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) and the host Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI), saw Chippewa Valley's volleyball squad nip Oxford by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Chippewa Valley upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Big Reds travel to Warren Woods-Tower (Warren, MI) to play the Titans in a Macomb Area - Blue bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-6.

The Wildcats now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Rochester for a Oakland - Red bout on Tuesday, October 3. Oxford will play a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Clarkston (Clarkston, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 11-10.
