The Kennedy Thunderbirds volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Granite Hills Grizzlies to 0 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Monday.

The Thunderbirds now have a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Taft for a South Sequoia outing on Tuesday, October 1. Kennedy will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Delano (Delano, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-12.

With the loss, Granite Hills drops to 5-15 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Lindsay (Lindsay, CA) to play the Cardinals in a East Sequoia- Sequoia outing on Wednesday, October 2. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 1-18. Lindsay lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Corcoran (Corcoran, CA)
