The George Stevens Academy Eagles soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting Searsport Vikings to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bangor Christian for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. George Stevens Academy will play a Patriots squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Patriots record now stands at 9-0.
With the loss, Searsport moves to 0-7 on the year. The Vikings host Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME) to face the Hawks in a non-league game on Saturday, October 4. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 0-4.
