North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cardinal Gibbons over Felton Grove

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) and the host Felton Grove Galaxy (Apex, NC), observed Cardinal Gibbons's volleyball team top Felton Grove by a count of 3-0.

The Crusaders (16-3) will now prepare for their contest against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks enter the Triangle Six 6A/7A contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Holly Springs notched a victory over Cary (Cary, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Galaxy meet the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) in a Triangle Six 6A/7A contest, on Thursday, October 2. Felton Grove will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 11-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Cary Academy (Cary, NC).
