In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Cherokee Chiefs soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 win over the Unicoi County Blue Devils.
The Chiefs (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Volunteer (Church Hill, TN). The Falcons enter the AA District 2 outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Volunteer tipped Grainger (Rutledge, TN), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes (Morristown, TN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. Unicoi County will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Hurricanes come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN).
