The Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs edged the host Washington Bluejays soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Bulldogs now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hickman for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. Fort Zumwalt South will encounter a Kewpies squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to De Smet Jesuit (St. Louis, MO). The Kewpies record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Washington moves to 1-1 on the year. The Bluejays travel to Fort Zumwalt East (St. Peters, MO) to encounter the Lions in a Gateway Central challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Lions enter the contest with a record of 1-0.
