South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK), 20-0 in a league battle.

With the win, South Anchorage improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Wolverines host Bartlett (Anchorage, AK) to play the Golden Bears in a Cook Inlet battle on Friday, September 6. The Golden Bears go into the battle with a record of 0-5. Bartlett lost 38-6 in their recent league battle against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)

The Lynx now have a 4-5 record. They play next when they host West Anchorage for a Cook Inlet battle on Saturday, September 7. Dimond will play a Eagles team coming off a 38-6 league win over Bartlett (Anchorage, AK). The Eagles record now stands at 6-0.
