North Carolina High School Volleyball - Burns over Bessemer City

September 5, 2024: Lawndale, NC 28090

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Burns Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets.

The Bulldogs (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC). The Gryphons come into the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Thomas Jefferson beat Bethel Christian Academy (Spruce Pine, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellow Jackets play the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Bessemer City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record.
