The Phoenix Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting North Valley Knights to 1 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Eagle Point for a non-league outing on Monday, September 9. Phoenix will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mazama (Klamath Falls, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, North Valley drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Coquille (Coquille, OR) to play the Red Devils in a 3A Far West outing on Friday, September 6. The Red Devils come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Coquille won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Toledo (Toledo, OR)
