With the win, Tishomingo County improves its record to 9-4 on the season. The Braves travel to Amory (Amory, MS) to encounter the Panthers in a Class 4A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, September 10. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 12-7.

The Red Raiders now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amory for a Class 4A Region 1 battle on Monday, September 9. Shannon will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 12-7.
