    The Lowndes Academy Rebels walloped the visiting Fort Dale Academy Eagles football team by a score of 46-14 in Friday's league challenge.

    In their next game, the Rebels play the Clarke Prep Gators (Grove Hill, AL) in a AISA AAA Region 2 challenge, on Friday, September 12. Lowndes Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Gators go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 41-0 league loss to Morgan Academy (Selma, AL).

    With the defeat, Fort Dale Academy drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Clarke Prep (Grove Hill, AL) to meet the Gators in a AISA AAA Region 2 test on Friday, September 19. The Gators come into the test with a record of 0-3.
