The Godwin Eagles football team (Richmond, VA), was tipped 14-10 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA)
The Raiders (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Spotsylvania nipped Caroline (Milford, VA), 37-20, in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hanover for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 14. Godwin will meet a Hawks team coming off a 56-12 non-league win over Monacan (Richmond, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
