Hemingford Bobcats (Hemingford, NE) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Hyannis Longhorns (Hyannis, NE), 64-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Hemingford advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Bayard (Bayard, NE) to play the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Bayard lost 54-26 in their recent non-league battle against Kimball (Kimball, NE)

The Longhorns now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Morrill for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Hyannis will play a Lions team coming off a 46-6 non-league loss to Brady (Brady, NE). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
