Ohio High School Football - Ridgemont nips Ridgedale

September 6, 2024: Morral, OH 43337

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH) and the host Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH), witnessed Ridgemont's football squad edge Ridgedale by a tally of 14-8.

The Golden Gophers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Elgin (Marion, OH). The Comets enter the Northwest Central contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Elgin got by North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH), 34-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Rockets battle the Richard Pioneers (Riverview, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 14. Ridgedale will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Pioneers enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 27-0 non-league win over Muskegon Catholic Central (Muskegon, MI).
