In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Windward Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Culver City Centaurs.

The Wildcats (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Campbell Hall (North Hollywood, CA). The Vikings come into the Gold Coast challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Campbell Hall beat West Ranch (Valencia, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Centaurs play the South Pasadena Tigers (South Pasadena, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Culver City will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA).
