In Saturday's league game, the Standley Lake Gators (Westminster, CO) flag football squad knocked off the host Bear Creek Bears (Lakewood, CO), by a margin of 26-13.

The Gators now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakewood for a 5A Jeffco outing on Wednesday, September 10. Standley Lake will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 31-0 league loss to Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.

Coming up next, the Bears battle the Littleton Lions (Littleton, CO) in a 4A Jeffco contest, on Wednesday, September 10. Bear Creek will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 38-6 non-league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, CO).
