Georgia High School Volleyball - Gordon Lee Anderson County

Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Anderson County improves its record to 6-7 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Gibbs (Corryton, TN) to meet the Eagles in a AAA District 3 challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-10.

Next, the Trojans meet the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) in a 1A Area 7 challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Gordon Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 2-0 league win over Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA).
