Alabama High School Volleyball - Carbon Hill can't hold off Pennington

The Pennington Tigers tipped the visiting Carbon Hill Bulldogs volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Cleveland for a non-league bout on Monday, September 8. Pennington will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Appalachian (Oneonta, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Carbon Hill drops to 8-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Oakman (Oakman, AL) to confront the Wildcats in a 3A Area 9 match on Tuesday, September 16. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 6-10. Oakman won 3-1 in their recent league match against Gordo (Gordo, AL)
