The West Park Panthers held off the visiting River City Raiders volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Inderkum for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. West Park will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.
The Raiders (1-3) will now prepare for their test against McClatchy (Sacramento, CA). The Lions enter the test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, McClatchy held off Kennedy (Sacramento, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
