The Diamondbacks go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA).

With the loss, Summerville moves to 0-2 on the year. The Bears travel to Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA) to face the Bullfrogs in a contest on Tuesday, September 19. The Bullfrogs go into the contest with a record of 4-5.
