In Thursday's non-league battle, the host North Cedar Knights volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Alburnett Pirates.
The Knights (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Wilton (Wilton, IA). The Beavers come into the non-league battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Wilton achieved victory over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Pirates encounter the Central Warriors (Elkader, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 9. Alburnett will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 0-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Central City (Central City, IA).
