In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Bryan County Redskins volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Memorial Day Matadors.
The Redskins (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Savannah Country Day lost by Effingham County (Springfield, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Matadors clash with the Windsor Forest Knights (Savannah, GA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 7. Memorial Day will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Toombs County (Lyons, GA).
