Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Northeast Raiders (Macon, GA) and the visiting Jordan Red Jackets (Columbus, GA), witnessed Northeast's softball squad prevail over Jordan by a count of 16-0.

The Raiders now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Rutland for a 2A Region 2 match on Tuesday, September 13. Northeast will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 22-2 league win over Kendrick (Columbus, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Jordan moves to 2-7 on the season. The Red jackets host Carver (Columbus, GA) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Monday, September 12. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 3-10. Carver lost 16-1 in their recent league match against Crisp County (Cordele, GA)
