The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Catholic Central Crusaders (Troy, NY) and the visiting Albany Academy for Girls Bears (Albany, NY), saw Catholic Central's volleyball squad beat Albany Academy for Girls by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Catholic Central upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY) to play the Indians in a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty bout on Monday, September 12. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Lansingburgh (Troy, NY)

The Bears now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk for a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty bout on Thursday, September 15.
