The Millington Central Trojans thwarted the visiting Craigmont Chiefs football team by a count of 31-12 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Millington Central upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Trojans host Kirby (Memphis, TN) to face the Cougars in a 4A Region 8 bout on Friday, September 15. The Cougars enter the bout with a record of 1-3. Kirby lost 43-0 in their recent league bout against Melrose (Memphis, TN)

The Chiefs (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Raleigh-Egypt (Memphis, TN). The Pharaohs enter the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Raleigh-Egypt thwarted Lakeland Preparatory (Lakeland, TN), 41-6, in a league bout.
