Kansas High School Football - Sterling topped by Marion

The Sterling Black Bears football team (Sterling, KS), was beaten 19-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Marion Warriors (Marion, KS)

The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity (Hutchinson, KS). The Celtics come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Trinity achieved victory over Remington (Whitewater, KS), 41-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Black Bears now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Sedgwick for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. Sterling will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 35-20 non-league win over Inman (Inman, KS). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-0.
