In Friday's non-league game, the Strong Bulldogs (Strong, AR) football team knocked off the visiting Prairie View Academy Spartans (Bastrop, LA), by a final score of 14-0.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR). The Trojans come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Parkers Chapel was dropped by Spring Hill (Hope, AR), 22-16, in a non-league game.
The Spartans now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to River Oaks for a non-league game on Friday, September 15. Prairie View Academy will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 52-50 non-league loss to Franklin Academy (Winnsboro, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.
