The Crusaders (9-0) will now prepare for their contest against Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Freedom Christian Academy got by Village Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Cougars battle the Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 9. Goldsboro will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Gators go into the battle with a 1-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, NC).
