The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) and the visiting Conestoga Cougars (Murray, NE), observed Freeman's football squad defeat Conestoga by a count of 49-34.

The Falcons now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Exeter-Milligan/Friend for a D1 District 2 (8 Man) contest on Friday, September 16. Freeman will encounter a squad coming off a 36-18 non-league win over Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE). The record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Cougars encounter the Weeping Water Indians (Weeping Water, NE) in a D1 District 1 (8 Man) contest, on Friday, September 16.
