North Carolina High School Football - Rocky Mount smashes Goldsboro

September 9, 2022: Rocky Mount, NC 27803

The Rocky Mount Gryphons (Rocky Mount, NC) football routed the visiting Goldsboro Cougars (Goldsboro, NC), 62-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Gryphons face the Bunn Wildcats (Bunn, NC) in a 2A/3A East Conference 17 bout, on Friday, September 16. Rocky Mount will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 49-0 non-league win over J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC).

The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Wolfpack enter the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Whiteville walloped Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC), 41-7, in a non-league bout.
