Alaska High School Football - Juneau-Douglas/Thunder Mountain sneaks past West Valley

September 9, 2022: Juneau, AK 99801

The Juneau-Douglas/Thunder Mountain Huskies football squad scored 21 points and restricted the visiting West Valley Rams to 14 in the Huskies non-league victory on Friday.

The Huskies now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Anchorage for a Cook Inlet battle on Saturday, September 17. Juneau-Douglas/Thunder Mountain will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 20-12 league loss to Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-5.

Coming up next, the Rams face the Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA) in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle, on Friday, September 16. West Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Ellensburg (Ellensburg, WA).
