The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Rosary Royals (Aurora, IL) and the visiting De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL), saw Rosary's volleyball squad nip De La Salle by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Rosary upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Royals host DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL) to play the Rams in a bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 3-0. DePaul College Prep won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lane Tech (Chicago, IL)

The Meteors now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln-Way West for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9.
