The Air Academy Kadets softball team (US Air Force Academy, CO), 8-6 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO)
Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Palisade Bulldogs (Palisade, CO) in a 4A Western Slope test, on Tuesday, September 12. Rifle will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 9-4 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO).
The Kadets (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO). The Bears enter the 4A Pikes Peak test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Palmer Ridge tipped Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO), 16-4, in a league test.
