Ohio High School Volleyball - Bedford edged by Firestone

The Firestone Falcons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Bedford Bearcats to 1 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.

The Falcons now have a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Claymont for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Firestone will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Ridgewood (West Lafayette, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-4.

The Bearcats (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Columbia (Columbia Station, OH). The Raiders enter the non-league game with a 9-0 record. In their last game, Columbia held off Brookside (Sheffield, OH), 3-1, in a league game.
