The Boaz Pirates topped the host Lincoln Golden Bears volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Pirates now have a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison County for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Boaz will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Whitesburg Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 16-7.

The Golden Bears (3-10) will now prepare for their test against Addison (Addison, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Addison gained a win over Cold Springs (Bremen, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
