In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Woodlawn Colonels volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Wenonah Dragons.
The Colonels (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Pell City (Pell City, AL). The Panthers come into the 6A Area 10 battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Pell City lost by Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Dragons clash with the Midfield Patriots (Midfield, AL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 11. Wenonah will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record.
