Virginia High School Volleyball - Jefferson Forest over Staunton River

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Jefferson Forest Cavaliers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Staunton River Golden Eagles.
The Cavaliers (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Minutemen enter the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Liberty was defeated by Floyd County (Floyd, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pulaski County for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Staunton River will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-1.
