The Junction City Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Springfield Millers to 1 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Creswell for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. Junction City will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Springfield drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Millers host Churchill (Eugene, OR) to play the Lancers in a 5A Midwestern game on Thursday, September 11. The Lancers go into the game with a record of 2-3. Churchill won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Ridgeview (Redmond, OR)
