Downingtown West came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.4 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Spring-Ford Rams a 5-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 back in August.

Downingtown West's win bumped their record up to 11-7-1. As for Spring-Ford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
