Volleyball Recap: Sandy Creek Triumphs

Sandy Creek proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Elm Creek Buffaloes, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cougars have posted since October 9th.

Sandy Creek found their leader in freshman Emersyn Pohlmeier, who had 39 digs and two aces. Those 39 digs set a new season-high mark for Pohlmeier.

Sandy Creek's victory bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Elm Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 16-12.

As of now, neither Sandy Creek nor the Buffaloes have any future games scheduled.
