Volleyball Recap: Middletown Makes It Six in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Middletown, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the St. Bernard's Crusaders on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Mustangs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 22, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

While Middletown won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 26-24.

Carly Johnson paced Middletown's offense, picking up ten kills. Johnson got some help from Bridget Lisenbee and her 11 assists. Jordyn Harbison controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Middletown's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-3.

Middletown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Vacaville Christian on the 30th. As for St. Bernard's, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Willits on the 30th.
